    ALWAYS CONSIDER THE 'ASBESTOS' FACTOR

    April 9-13th is Asbestos Awareness Week in New Zealand. It also coincides with some significant new requirements and regulations for industry when it comes to working with asbestos. 

     

    Asbestos Awareness Week is an initiative led by the New Zealand Demolition and Asbestos Association (NZDAA), in collaboration with the regulator WorkSafe New Zealand, and a range of industry partners.

    ​

    Built around the theme of the 'A' Factor and minimising the asbestos exposure, the campaign encourages tradespeople and home renovators to take the risks of exposure seriously and to get asbestos aware.
